I’ve heard so many sad, sad stories about Amy Winehouse that I’m about to hop on a plane and straighten her butt out. Her parents are saying that they feel she is still in need of saving.

I think they should just commit her already. Or get her on Celebrity Rehab.

Janis Winehouse says, “The need to rescue her is enormous. I just want her to be OK, and I would do whatever it took to make that right.”

The “Rehab” singer was hospitalized for supposed dehydration last month and had to cancel her comeback performance in London. Her father, Mitch, claims she is in a drug-treatment program, but still boozing.

“For the last six months, there’s been a remarkable recovery,” he tells the news station. “A gradual recovery, which is good. With slight backwards steps—more drink backward steps, if you follow my drift.”

“Amy is in denial all the time,” her mother says. “She probably feels trapped, her body is trapping her. But I know with addiction you do not have the choice, because the substance itself directs you. I want to say to her, ‘Amy, what are you doing? Don’t you know what you’re doing?’ But she by then has got herself on to it to help her get through, and I understand that.”

“I need my daughter to be a whole person again,” Mitch adds.

Furthermore, the star’s father is anxious about his daughter’s relationship with her estranged husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, and blames him for fostering her addictions.

“The option of them being together is too horrible to contemplate,” he says. “They are going to get divorced, and who knows what’s going to happen down the line.”

In the future, however, he may be willing to offer the pair his blessing.

“Amy and Blake have decided that they want to live their lives separately, and if they get back together again in the future and they’re both clean and they still love each other, that’s up to them.”

I feel for her, I really do. Addiction is such a tough thing to overcome. I hope can get her life together and release some really awesome music again.

Ruh roh. We’ve just heard that Justin Timberlake was spotted out and about by none other than Lindsay Lohan, smooching on another girl!

The woman wanted for questioning in a jewelry heist — Lindsay Lohan — is now accusing Justin Timberlake of swapping spit with someone other than Jessica Biel.

Lilo allegedly witnessed Timber cheating at Avenue nightclub in New York Monday night — something this blog first put together — and LiLo not-so-cryptically Tweeted about it by saying,

“… where’s jb cheater?” (jb = Jessica Biel)

So the question is … you buying what LiLo’s selling?

She’s also updated her Twitter to say:

Why do people cheat? When love is always standing right in front of their face (s) ?? Sr?

Think she’s one to talk? And do you even think she’s believable?

Two police chiefs in the area where Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s surrogate lives are under investigation by authorities for allegedly concocting a plan to break into her home to get info for a tabloid.

That’s just disgusting! She’s pregnant, for Christ’s sakes!

Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter and Bridgeport Police Dept. Chief Chad DoJack allegedly were behind a plan to burglarize the surrogate’s home in Martins Ferry, Ohio and then sell info to a tabloid reporter — this according to WTRF TV.

We’re told investigators have seized several computers. As for the operating theory — investigators believe the culprits were trying to get photos from inside the house to show the living conditions.

It appears there really was a break-in a few weeks ago.

UPDATE: Police Chief Barry Carpenter told WTOV: “I’m 100% innocent in this and my department is as well.”

I can’t believe the lengths that some people will go to just to make a few bucks. It’s disgusting.

I think she’s a hobbit. The no expectations aspect was fantastic. I kind of wanted her to be the person who not only could sing, but was gonna tell everyone to fuck off and would become the new sex symbol. I hope she comes back fucking crazy like Judy Garland on acid. I’d like to feed her a lot of booze and pills and just let her sing beautiful songs and threaten people from the stage.

A slew of stars including Hugh Hefner, Matthew McConaughey, Annette Bening, Warren Beatty and Melanie Griffith strutted into the Sony Studios in Los Angeles last week to honor Michael Douglas as he received AFI’s 37th Annual Lifetime Achievement Award. However, the entire evening Michael barely took his eyes off his stunning wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, and it seems he made his intentions very clear the very first time they met.

“My very first impression was that he was very funny and very charming,” Catherine Zeta-Jones told Tarts. “And straight away he was very direct that he wanted to be the father of my children. So that was it …”

The two have since had two children, Dylan, 8, and Carys, 6.

Although Douglas is still clearly mesmerized by his leading lady, he was less-than-impressed when a reporter asked Zeta-Jones first of all what she was wearing.

“I’m being honored for a Lifetime Achievement Award and you ask my wife what she is wearing. Not even the second question, you ask it straight up,” he said while walking away, before reluctantly being enticed back.

But according to Michael Douglas’s 92-year-old father Kirk, he didn’t want his son to even enter show business.

“For years I tried to get him out! I thought he was going to be a lawyer and I would encourage that but my son never listened to me,” Kirk exclaimed. “He’s too young or I’m too young for my son to have a life time achievement award. I don’t know how I feel. I have mixed emotions.”

Hills star Stephanie Pratt opens up for the first time in the new issue of Us Weekly about hating her body and her terrifying secret struggle with bulimia — sparked, she says, by the pressure of appearing alongside her super-thin friends on the hit MTV reality show.

The 5-foot-7 23-year-old reveals she began bingeing and purging after watching a scene she shot with Lauren Conrad in 2007 after first joining the cast: “I was horrified. I remember saying, ‘I can’t believe how huge I look walking over to Lauren.’”

Another time, when filming in Hawaii in bikinis, the size 0-2 Pratt –- in a bikini and cover-up — asked costar Audrina Patridge, “What looks better, ‘shirt on or off?’” Patridge said ‘On.’” Says Pratt, “The producers never put pressure on us to lose weight,” but adds, “It’s embarrassing working with skinny girls.”
