Twilighters, fear not, Robert Pattinson is alright.

RadarOnline is reporting that Rob was hit by a taxi cab earlier today while running away from some hysterical fans.

The incident occurred around noon in front of the Strand book store on Broadway and 12th Street.

He was being rushed to his trailer by five security guards. As they tried rushing him across the street, he was grazed in the hip by an oncoming taxi.

The driver slammed on the brakes and Rob stood there for a moment looking “stunned” The bodyguard next to him checked him to make sure he was alright and then yelled at the fans, “You see what you did, you almost killed him!”
