When I first saw this photos of Maggie Gyllenhaal posing to promote her movie “Sherry Baby” in Paris, I thought it must be a mistake. The movie came out in the US in 2006, but is just now being released in France! It did premier in Deauville Film Festival in 2006 as well.
If you can’t remember what movie this was, Maggie plays a mom (Sherry) who returns from spending time in prison wanting to reunite with her daughter. It ends up a relative has been watching over the girl and doesn’t think it would be a good idea to have Sherry take the daughter back.

I love Maggie!! Whats with the frayed hem?? And that is odd about the movie just coming out over seas.

Agreed – Maggie is a true tallent but I must say I had never heard of this movie till now.
