Police: David Carradine May Have Died of Accidental Suffocation

David Carradine’s death continues to get more mysterious.
On Friday, Thai police said that the 72-year-old actor’s body was found in a luxury hotel room closet with a rope tied to his neck and genitals.
They added that his death may have been caused by accidental suffocation.
“The two ropes were tied together,” Police Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewprecha said. “It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or he died of suffocation or heart failure.”
Results from Friday’s autopsy will not be ready for at least three weeks because the cause of death remains unclear.
Police initially said they suspected Carradine, best known for his role as Kwai Chang Caine on the 1970s TV series Kung Fu, had committed suicide, despite the actor’s close friends and family’s strong denials. (He had been in Thailand shooting a movie, Stretch.)
“All we can say is, we know David would never have committed suicide,” Tiffany Smith — of Binder & Associates, his management company — told the Associated Press. “We’re just waiting for them to finish the investigation and find out what really happened. He really appreciated everything life has to give … and that’s not something David would ever do to himself.”

That doesn’t make any sense. How does having a rope tied to your neck and genitals correlate into accidental suffocation? What was he doing? This story doesn’t explain the title.
