Time leaves no one behind. Except, of course, if you’re a 90’s flower child who was seemingly behind the times even then – at least as far as fashion is concerned.
‘Blossom’ star Mayim Bialik, now 33, has agreed to allow ‘What Not to Wear’ hosts Stacy London and Clinton Kelly put the “hip” back in hippie by succumbing to a total wardrobe revamp for the WNTW premiere.
“I’m not trendy, I’m not hip, I don’t understand fashion. I have weird taste,” Bialik told TV Guide. “When you hear that you need a makeover from your mom or your best friend, you don’t take it seriously, but when you’re attacked on the street and shown yourself in this mirror that highlights how dumpy you look, it really hits home.”
Sounds as if Stacy and Clinton, who together have worked miracles on previous shows, may have to perform another.
Big baby news for Sarah Michelle Gellar and hubby Freddie Prinze Jr.! Star can exclusively reveal that the couple, who are finally starting a family together after seven years of marriage, are having a girl.
Sarah, who is five months pregnant, was overheard gushing about her baby daughter while on the New York City set of her HBO pilot, The Wonderful Maladays.
“Sarah’s so excited, she’s having a hard time keeping it a secret,” says a source. “She’s been letting little details slip here and there.”
Sarah, has also thrown herself into decorating the little one’s nursery, despite her busy shooting schedule. “She’s had her hands full,” says the source. “She’s been spending her free time planning the nursery in their TriBeCa apartment while acting in the show and serving as executive producer at the same time. But she wants everything to be perfect by the time the baby comes.”
The star has been very clear about her decor direction, says the source. “Sarah wants the room to look sophisticated, so nothing too frilly or princessy. She’s been shopping for earth tones to mix with plum or magenta accents.”
While many moms-to-be might be overwhelmed having so much on their plate, Sarah is actually thriving. “She’s definitely taking the pregnancy well, and Freddie is also making things easier for her, which helps her de-stress,” says the source. “Sarah actually seems calmer and more relaxed than she was before getting pregnant!”

Cynthia Nixon announced her engagement to girlfriend Christine Marinoni at a Sunday rally in New York to support same-sex marriage, reports Access Hollywood.

Nixon and Marinoni began dating in 2004, following the actress’s 2003 split from her companion of 16 years, photographer Danny Mozes, with whom she has two children: Samantha, 12, and Charles, 6. “When I first started dating my girlfriend and people got wind of it, I said, ‘Yes, that’s true,’ ” Nixon told PEOPLE in May 2008.
About that same time, with California having legalized gay marriage (a law subsequently struck down in the November 2008 election), Nixon told the News, “In an ideal world, we’d like to in New York, when it becomes legalized.”
