Kim Kardashian’s beach body secret: confidence!

During a recent trip to Miami, Kim Kardashian showed off more than just her and her sisters’ new boutique. The reality star stepped out on the beach flaunting a toned bikini bod! “The best tip for looking good at the beach is to be confident,” Kim, 28, told Life & Style at the May 20 opening of Dash’s Miami outpost. “The most important thing is not to be shy — work with what you have.”

Still, Kim adds, sometimes a quick fashion fix is the best way for a girl to flaunt her figure on the beach. “A cover-up is a girl’s best friend,” she says. “Every one’s got a body part that’s not a favorite, so find the perfect style to help make you feel more confident about your body.” Kim’s other tips for hitting the beach include:

ALWAYS KEEP YOUR WATER BOTTLE FULL

“A few days before heading to the beach, start drinking more water,” says Kim. “A couple of big bottles a day will help you get a flatter stomach.”

GIVE SALTY FOODS THE BOOT

“Avoid salty food for a week before you go,” says Kim, who knows that snacks that are high in sodium (like fast food and chips) cause the body to retain tons of excess water. “It’s tough, but it’s worth it.”

A TAN HELPS CONCEAL IMPERFECTIONS

“A tan can make you look 10 pounds slimmer,” Kim says. “Before you hit the beach, get a spray tan or spend the night before applying a self-tanner.”
