Jon & Kate Premiere Clip
Jon Gosselin addresses his relationship with Kate in a new clip from the May 25 premiere of their TLC show Jon and Kate Plus 8.
The couple of about 10 years speak to the camera separately. In prior seasons, they give testimonials together. WATCH THE VIDEO.
Us Weekly has reported that Jon lives in an apartment above the garage of their $1.1 million home, and had an affair with a 23-year-old. Short-tempered Kate — who fired 40 staffers in three months — has become “inseparable” from her bodyguard.
“The world isn’t about ratings and TV. It’s about happiness and love and companionship and god,” Jon tells the camera. “And, you know, I think we all get caught up in everything. Too much of anything is bad. Because I love my kids, I love my family and that’s what it is.”
Us Weekly also reports that Jon saw his sextuplets as his “meal ticket” and Kate’s former baby nurse confirms Kate talked to the McCaughey sextuplet family for advice on getting freebies.
Continues Jon to the camera: “Kate and I obviously have been going through a lot of stuff and discussing what’s best for our kids. What we said in the beginning — it’s a crazy life, but it’s our life — that’s so true.”

I bet she has became a monster. They live off their children and TLC. Many families have many children and don’t have a free ride.
They made the choice to have that many children, knowing that they could make money from it.
It’s not about the children its about Kate, and maybe Jon… I don’t see him out that much. ( just with other women). They started the show wanting to show how it is to raise that many children, well I have a feeling they don’t raise the children nannies do.

Yea… so? They were dirt poor before the show, clearly they needed some advice.
No matter what anyone says about them I still think that they started the show for the right reasons (people were fascinated by them), and then realized that they needed the money or else their lives would be terrible. If it weren’t for the show, they would probably both have to work in order to keep up with all of their bills, and THAT would be a tragedy for those kids. At least now they’re able to provide for those kids pretty much for the rest of their lives. Also, I’d like to see any of you haters put your life out there on TV (without faking anything for the cameras, which they say they don’t). I’m sure none of you are perfect either. I imagine the more she hears about all these people hating her the ‘crazier’ she is going to get.
You gotta walk in their shoes before judging them. They do genuinely love their kids, at least I can see that Kate does.

I personally love this show and I think it would be hard for anyone to be in the spotlight like that. I do believe they have the kids in their best interest, while they may not always go about it the right way. These kids would never have experienced the things they did had it not been for this show.
The saddest part of it is the fact that so many paps and tabloids blow things out of proportion, I will never take their word for it. The only people who know the full truth are Jon & Kate. It’s not our business, just theirs. They have hardships and problems just like any family does. The only difference is they are constantly in the public eye and in a way, their lives are in our hands. Because if enough people stop wathing their show and promoting it – they wouldn’t be where they are now.
People say Kate is just a money whore all of the sudden and cares only about her appearance and such… I find this hard to believe because was there not a show where Jon himself had to take Kate shopping because he did not like her clothes? She didn’t do all that dressing up stuff, how could she with all those kids? And now that she is dressing up – the whole world goes beserk. The children are older now, it is easier for the parent to take a step back and take a bit more care of themselves. Albeit, maybe not that much care – but still.
I think it’s majorly the producers that are handling the way Kate dresses. The show is progressing with the rest of the world. Television changes on a daily basis. You’ve got to look good and rich to succeed and have a successful show. Because hollywood IS all about appeareance these days.
On the Jon front, I don’t know. Only Jon & Kate know the truth. I will however say, if he had cheated, it was in a way, warranted. On the show Kate treats him very poorly. And she shouldn’t do that on camera or at all for that matter. I also believe it’s possible for Jon (and Kate) to have friends. I also have it in mind to think Kate would be the first one to cheat. Whether either of them cheated or not – is not our business. It’s theirs.
Many people say they care about the childrens best interest… it’s those same people that are continuously bashing their parents Jon & Kate. Those poor kids will one day look back on their lives to see what they were lucky enough to experience at such a young age or even at all. But what else will they see? Tabloids ripping apart their family, spreading rumors and lies. No child wants to see that. It’s utterly ridiculous to put the blame on Jon & Kate for subjecting their children to this. To air their lives on national television in front of millions of people. Those kids LOVE it. And they don’t seem to mind it. The only people who ARE wrong – are those who spread the lies and give people like you and I false impressions of what this family is really like.
I don’t know how bad things are between them (it may just be a big ploy for ratings) but if things are bad, it’s only going to be made worse because of the tabloids.
Maybe they did let fame go to their heads… but let’s be honest, it would go to our heads too if it were us in their position. Anyone who tries to say otherwise, is kidding themselves.

This whole story has gotten completely out of hand. If you started tracking down everybody in your life who ever disliked you, you could put together a pretty nasty story about anybody.

i loved this show for the kids only. there were things about jon and kate i did not enjoy but it was about the children whom i have watched since babies.i don\’t want to know about there private life, everything i seem to enjoy ends up falling apart and i am pissed at the tabloids for telling all. there is no respect for the children when these are all over the supermarkets. come on they have friends in school and this ends up being so hurtful to everyone. what has happened should of been done quietly and jon should of realized his every move is photographed. come on bring the young girl home to lay out and sunbathe on the lawn of your new home. that was not only ignorant but so disrespectful to the whole family. your home is sacred and there turf. this idiot girl should of had more common sence if jon did not see this coming she should of. she is unfit to teach children after all kids are taught trust, respect and many other things by a teacher that is to be honored.any woman [GIRL} who has an affair with a married man let alone a man with 8 kids ought to be whipped. have a little respect for the other side. anyway the show is now a downer to me and i put the books away cuz i hate looking at there little faces realizing things aren\’t so wonderful. i will no longer be a fan of the show which my mother and i never missed. kate did not respect jon in many episodes and treated him like one of the kids that needed to be told every move to make and he should of talked to her about it and demanded a turn around. a lot of men need to be directed when helping as they would rather be doing something else as there bored. i think having an affair was not an option, if its over and beyond repair then its over. i honestly think jon hates kate deep down and needed someone. this should of been done by calling the game over, instead he chose to disgrace to family image like most men do cuz there stupid and only think about themselves. i don\’t think any amount of counseling will mend this marriage but remaining on the show for financial reasons is not the answer. kate has it together enough to get something going on her own to make enough money to take care of the family. she is going to have to change her ways for the public to accept her as she is considered to be rude, bossy and mean to a lot of people. it\’s interesting how a woman turns out to be a bitch when she has to keep everything running smoothly. she is under alot of pressure and we all have are ways of doing things but i think kate is beautiful, smart and has it together. she can have fun and laugh and definately loves her family. jon and her just have grown apart like many many married couples. it will be very sad for the kids if they split but knowing how much the parents both love them will get them thru this. i don\’t think having another partner in the pic for awhile would be helpful. there is big bucks for them making this show but if the audience feels jon and kate are not there then it is only an embarassement to continue it. i think the only way they can make it is if they have god back in there lives to guide them thru the damage.i wish them all the best and will always think lovingly of the children. i encourage the viewers to avoid the tabloids as they were a great part in disgracing this family. writers live a good life by writing terrible things about other people they may or not know is true. by not buying the magazine it will condone ther way of making a living.i like a good story considering everything around us is falling apart. make them work harder to make there money. oh and as far as kates brother and aunt jodie being in many interviews bad mouth jon and kate, i think aunt jodie was jealous she could not get her hands on some of the cash flow. to bad mouth them as much as they have made them creeps. you don\’t talk bad about family members only for the press to eat it up. respect the kids and shut up. they should of said that jon and kates life is theres and that they would not discuss it. no they got there interview money like sorry ass people do if they can add to the turmoil and make a few dollars doing it. sorry they could not come up with some kind of show of there own. maybe aunt jodie could sell cookies or show some martha stewart side of her to get her own show. that was another thing that pissed me off. i think i could go on forever but i shall go tend to my own business now. bye, bye.

Love the show and love the family! Pay not mind to the other comments as these are obviously nieve people who have extreamly boring lives and must create shock and excitement from others! Perfect target to use Jon and Kate!
We all have rough patches, it is simply exemplified in being in the lime light! I can see why Jon hates the media! Also, it isnt about the money or the freebies! Anyone who watched this show from the beginning, KNOWS this was to document their kids lives…THATS ALL…. As time went on it turned into a business…how could it not! And with that came drama. This is an ordinary family not the Spears and Federlines…
COme back to reality people, live isnt perfect, had it been, life would have no variation and be considerably boring!
