Kiefer surrenders today…probably.
Kiefer Sutherland will face a misdemeanor assault charge as a result of the incident earlier this week. Kiefer allegedly headbutted, without provocation, fashion designer Jack McCollough when the two attended a party after the Met ball in Soho.
Jack claims it was unprovoked, while Kiefer claims he did so only after Jack pushed actress Brooke Shields. This might complicate legal matters for Kiefer as he is currently on probation for DUI, which he was charged with in 2007.
Kiefer is expected to surrender to police at some point today, but there are some complications regarding residency and the procedure to arraign him.
