Carnie Wilson and her hubby, musician Rob Bonfiglio, are eagerly awaiting their next gift from the stork: a little girl, expected in June, whom the couple have already named Luciana. But no one in the house is more excited than Luciana’s soon-to-be big sister, 3-year-old Lola! “She’s really, really thrilled,” Carnie, 40, told Life & Style during a recent visit to the family’s home in Tarzana, Calif. Lola even moved down the hall to a bigger bedroom so Carnie could get the nursery ready for Luciana. “I wanted soft colors and a soft palette, so it’s a lot of cream with subtle accents of pink,” Carnie raves.

Carnie’s also looking ahead to how she’ll lose the baby weight after the birth. “I’ve put on 38 pounds,” she tells Life & Style. “I had originally wanted to gain only 25 to 30 pounds, but that didn’t happen — and I’m not beating myself up for it. I don’t want to be neurotic; I want to celebrate the pregnancy.” For now, she’s been adding an extra 200 to 300 calories a day to her diet in the form of snacks like rice cakes with peanut butter and raspberry bars from Whole Foods Market. “I’m not eating whatever I want,” she explains, “but I’ll have a little bit of everything.”

Taylor Lautner has taken Robert Pattinson’s place as New Moon’s leading man, Jacob Black, and now the newly announced cast that makes up the movie’s wolf pack has stepped on Robert’s heartthrob territory. Even worse, the crew’s reportedly leaking rumors about his bad hygiene, and his co-stars are dishing about Rob’s pickup lines. In the meantime, Taylor’s clearly reveling in his new role — and the notice he’s getting for the roughly 30 pounds of muscle he packed on – from fans and co-star Kristen Stewart.

While Kristen got cozy with Robert during production of Twilight, she now seems to have ditched him in favor of Taylor. They’ve had plenty of alone time filming scenes together on remote Tofino beaches, and the two were spotted keeping each other company off set at Earl’s Restaurant and during a leisurely walk through downtown Vancouver on March 18. It’s all too much for insecure Robert — who says he doubts his own looks and even his kissing technique — to handle. “He’s feeling very worried about his status as a fading superstar,” an insider tells Life & Style. “And his friends are also concerned that Robert’s Twilight success may have only been short-lived, and they feel bad for him.”

Jenny McCarthy visits the “Good Morning America” studios in New York to discuss her latest book on austism. “Healing and Preventing Austism: A Complete Guide”, which is written with Dr. Jerry Kartzinel, is the former Playboy model and MTV presenter’s fifth book on the subject of autism. Her seven-year-old son Evan developed the condition early in life.

Miley Cyrus vows she won’t end up like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan.

“The last thing I ever want to do is disappoint my parents,” she tells May’s Glamour. “My mom’s dad died when she was 18, and if something ever happened to one of my parents, I’d want them to go knowing I made them proud. I think it’s selfish to go out partying all the time, especially if you have little ones [in your family]. I have a 9-year-old sister, and I don’t want her to go to school and have people make fun of her for it.”

The peer pressure can be hard to avoid.”At one of the very first awards shows I ever did, there was a bottle of vodka in my gift bag,” she says. “No one cared that they were giving this to a 12-year-old.”

The 16-year-old also makes no apologies for dating 20-year-old model Justin Gaston, whom she met through her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, on the Hannah Montana set.”I don’t feel like I’m doing anything wrong, and I’m ready for people to accept it,” she says. “My fans already accept it — they just want me to be happy. And I haven’t been that happy in a few years … working so hard, moving to L.A. from Nashville, going through a bad breakup [with Nick Jonas]. I’m finally happy again, and I think that is reflected in my music and my work.”

Adds Cyrus, “So honestly, I don’t feel like there’s anything to hide. And I love him so much I don’t really care.” (more…)
