Before he was winning hearts as Edward Cullen in the Twilight series, Robert Pattinson took a role playing a major geek to help pay his bills.

In the TV movie The Bad Mother’s Handbook, which aired in the UK in 2007, Robert played geeky Daniel Gale — a clumsy, mumbling geek who hid behind black-framed glasses and his hair (that hung over his face for most of the movie). However, despite his bad outfits and nerdiness, he’s still a charmer — and even has a kissing scene!
