DJ AM and girlfriend Hayley Wood head back to their car after an evening at the My House lounge. The DJ, real name Adam Goldstein, is reported to be teaming up with MTV for a “tough love” style intervention show inspired by his success in overcoming drug addiction. Adam, who revealed his past addiction last year, has been clean for a decade.

I wish his family and friends my condolences at this unfortunate time, he has inspired so many of our youth with his brilliance. We should reflect on the great things he has done and warn our kids yet again of the dangers that drugs can do.

I knew who DJ AM was when he was Nicole Richie\’s fiancee. After that I would see him alot on the web sites especially when he was involved in the jetliner crash and survived. Since then I would see pictures of him with Travis Barker and said to myselft that this guy has a warm look in his face. To be honest I never heard the way he mixes either. What I can tell you is that his passing hurt me alot. I can not stop thinking about it since he died. I just hope that he didnt commit suicide because that would hurt me even more. Thinking that he didnt care about his family and friends to want to lose his life. He had so many chances in life – I wish there was someone there to talk to him and help him with his problem before he took his life. I honestly feel he took his life. Remember a problem is a temperary thing – death is forever – and regrets are too late.
