US Magazine has new details on Chris Brown’s duet with Rihanna. On Tuesday, it was reported that Brown, 19, is back in a Santa Monica, Calif., studio with Rihanna, 21, working on an as-yet-untitled duet with producer Polow Da Don. “The theme is about being stronger and growing stronger in a relationship,” a source tells Us. “The song was originally created for Rihanna before the fight. However, it wasn’t initially slated for Chris to be on the song.” Adds the insider, “The funny thing is, the song expresses the emotions that both Chris and Rihanna are feeling at this moment – facing challenges and overcoming the ups and downs of a relationship in which you become stronger.” The source adds that Brown and Rihanna “were very playful in the studio.”

In a statement, Polow Da Don (who has worked with the Pussycat Dolls and Usher) tells Us: “My heart goes out to both Chris and Rihanna for what has happened in the past. They are both great artists to work with, and I wish them well.”

Brown allegedly attacked Rihanna Feb 8 in Los Angeles. He later turned himself in to Los Angeles Police and was released on $50,000 bail. On March 5, he was charged with two felonies – assault by means likely to create great bodily injury and criminal threats. He is to be arraigned April 6. If convicted, he faces anywhere from probation to four years and eight months in state prison.

If you’re not watching Big Love, then shame on you! It’s hands down the best show on TV right now…

HBO is so unlike TV it can’t even limit its drama to the screen.

The pay-cable network was busy Tuesday defending the depiction of a traditional Mormon temple ceremony in an upcoming episode of Big Love, a creative choice the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has interpreted as disrespect.

“Obviously, it was not our intention to do anything disrespectful to the church, but to those who may be offended, we offer our sincere apology,” HBO said in a statement today.

Jeanne Tripplehorn’s polygamy-favoring Barb is slated to participate in an endowment ceremony, in which church members perform symbolic acts to prepare themselves for admittance to heaven. HBO has deemed it a key plot point.

Big Love creators and executives producers Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer also said experts on temple ceremonies were consulted to ensure an accurate depiction.

On Monday, church leaders called the scene a clear indication of HBO’s insensitivity toward the church’s sacred practices. Members who are privy to such rituals take vows the details of their activities outside the temple.

“In approaching the dramatization of the endowment ceremony, we knew we had a responsibility to be completely accurate and to show the ceremony in the proper context and with respect,” Olsen and Scheffer said in an additional statement issued by HBO today.

“We therefore took great pains to depict the ceremony with the dignity and reverence it is due.”

Some individual members are calling for a boycott, but in dissing Big Love, church leaders also acknowledged their lack of overall concern, stating that even “extreme misrepresentations” of Mormonism in the media weren’t likely to have a “long-term negative effect on the church.”

UPDATE!: DJ AM ALMOST IN SECOND PLANE CRASH!!

DJ AM, in an incredible sequence of events, was scheduled to fly on the doomed Continental flight that crashed in Buffalo and killed 49 people — it would have been his second plane crash in six months.

He was booked on the flight but had a bad feeling about it and canceled and drove instead.

DJ AM now says his flying days are over. He will only book gigs if he can drive to them.

As a result, DJ AM’s management team released the following press release today:

It’s with deep regret that Enclave and Adam “DJ A.M.” Goldstein and management inform you that Adam has personally decided to opt out of all gigs requiring him to fly. He was scheduled to board a flight that he had a “bad feeling about” a few weeks ago. Instead, Adam took it upon himself to drive to the venue because he didn’t want to chance anything. That flight later crashed and resulted in deaths and critical injury.

Please accept our apologies and we look forward to letting you know when Adam is comfortable making the long flight again!
