It’s a girl – and she shares her birthday with her mom!
How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan and her husband, actor Alexis Denisof, who kept the gender of their baby a secret during pregnancy, have welcomed a daughter, her rep tells PEOPLE.
The girl is named Satyana Denisof and was born March 24 in Los Angeles, which also happens to be Hannigan’s birthday. “They’re very excited, and mom and baby are doing great,” says the rep.
Hannigan, 35, who first announced she was expecting to PEOPLE last October, craved ginger ale during her pregnancy and revealed she felt absent minded. “I have pregnancy brain, which I never realized was a thing but it is,” she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I sort of feel like a Koala bear where I’m slightly stoned all the time and say the wrong word.”
This is the first child for Hannigan and Denisof, 43, who met on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer during the 1999-2000 season and were married at the Two Bunch Palms resort near Palm Springs, Calif., in 2003.
The Real Housewives of New York City star Countess Luann de Lesseps has split from her husband, Count de Lesseps.
According to the New York Post, they decided to separate after she “got wind he was seeing somebody and he didn’t answer her when she called. He finally sent her an e-mail saying he was with an Ethiopian woman in Geneva and he was serious with her.”
What’s more, sources tell the Post the pair — who have two children — just celebrated their 16th anniversary on March 16.
“Luann was blindsided. She was just devastated,” the Post quotes a pal as saying. “They have basically lived apart for many years — he lives in Europe and comes and goes as he pleases, but she never thought this would happen.”
“It has been very rough for her and the children [Victoria and Noel], but she’s taking the high road and will remain friends with him,” adds the source. “She has no intention of making it bitter or becoming angry. She’s just trying to come to terms with [the separation and impending divorce]. She feels this is the ultimate test for her to handle this with dignity and grace.”
Luann — whose releases her book, Class With the Countess next month — has told friends that, no matter what, “I will always be the countess,” according to the Post.
Says her rep, “It is obviously a very difficult time for the countess and count, but they plan to remain friends and their primary focus will be to do what is best for their two children.”
The Los Angeles County District Attorney denies that Rihanna is no longer cooperating in the Chris Brown case.
“We deal with her attorney who says she is a cooperating victim,” L.A. County D.A. spokesperson Sandi Gibbons tells Usmagazine.com.
According to FoxNews.com, the “Umbrella” singer “wants the whole thing” to go away and isn’t helping the D.A. prepare his case against Brown for allegedly assaulting her Feb. 8 — hours before both were scheduled to attend the Grammys.
Adds her lawyer, Donald Etra: “She will do everything that the law requires her to do…nothing has changed.”
However, even without Rihanna’s cooperation, the case will still go forward on the basis of her detailed statement to police hours after the attack and the graphic photos.
Brown — who, like Rihanna, did not attend this weekend’s Kids’ Choice Awards — is due in court to be arraigned on two felonies April 6.
