LeAnn Rimes Speaks: “This Is a Difficult Time”
As the new issue of Us Weekly reports on LeAnn Rimes‘ shocking affair with her TV movie costar Eddie Cibrian , the country singer, 26, has taken to her Web site to address fans.
“This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support,” she writes Wednesday. “I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white.”
Before signing off, Rimes tells fans, “have faith.”
Rimes didn’t address the affair during her appearance on Wednesday’s Live with Regis and Kelly.”Everything’s great – there’s rumors all the time,” she said.
“Things pass, life happens,” she later added. “You know, everything people read is not … as easy as black and white. That’s what it is. I let it roll off my back most of the time.”
Us Weekly reports that Rimes — currently wed to former backup dancer Dean Sheremet — got cozy with Cibrian, 35, on the set of her March 21 Lifetime flick, Northern Lights. Cibrian was recently seen in Ugly Betty, Invasion and Samantha Who?
The issue also features pictures taken from a video security camera that show the two holding hands and kissing on a romantic dinner date at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, California on March 7. Additionally, Us Weekly reports that the new couple met for a three-hour tryst at the Malibu Beach Inn on March 14.
