Howard K. Stern says he’s going to fight the charges against him!

An ET producer spoke to a devastatedHoward K. Stern right after he posted bond last night. Stern turned himself in after being charged with six felony counts for allegedly conspiring to provide Anna Nicole Smith with massive amounts of prescription drugs. Our producer said Stern certainly plans to fight the charges.
Howard’s father, Leon Stern tells ET the charges against his son are, “not true.”
Dr. Khristine Eroshevich was also charged and sources tell ET she will surrender on Monday, March 16, 2009. ET sat down with Dr. Eroshevich back in March 2007 as she reacted to the speculation surrounding her medical treatment of Anna Nicole. On how many medications she was prescribing to Anna at the time of her death, Eroshevich said, “By then she was on maybe 4 or 5 medications. Some of them were routine and some were as needed. We were talking about even cutting back.”
When asked if she was afraid to have her medical license revoked, Eroshevich told ET, “Not really. I would hope that who I am and what I do represents the quality of service I provide. The same thing I’m saying now I would say to the medical board. I feel like I did the right thing. I feel confident.”
Dr. Eroshevich explained her treatment of Anna Nicole, “Anna was beside herself, she was suffering from the pain of the C-section, she was beside herself that Daniel was dead. We were looking for way to calm her down. She needed her medication.”
According to a medical examiner’s report, Eroshevich provided Anna Nicole Smith with all 11 prescription medications found in Smith’s hotel room the day she died and several of the prescriptions were in Stern’s name.
ET spoke to Howard K. Stern back in October 2006, just a month after Anna Nicole lost her son Daniel to an accidental drug overdose. He told ET, “It’s something so horrible you can’t even imagine. There’s no way for anybody to understand what Anna was going through when Daniel passed.”
When ET sat down with Anna Nicole back in January 2007, in her last interview before her death, she told ET, “It’s not true. So not true that he’s (Howard) always giving me drugs.”
In an e-mail obtained by ET written by Anna Nicole to a friend back in October 2006, almost a month after Daniel’s death, Anna said, “I miss him, I want to die!”
