DJ AM was scheduled to fly on the doomed Continental flight that crashed in Buffalo!
UPDATE!: DJ AM ALMOST IN SECOND PLANE CRASH!!
DJ AM, in an incredible sequence of events, was scheduled to fly on the doomed Continental flight that crashed in Buffalo and killed 49 people — it would have been his second plane crash in six months.
He was booked on the flight but had a bad feeling about it and canceled and drove instead.
DJ AM now says his flying days are over. He will only book gigs if he can drive to them.
As a result, DJ AM’s management team released the following press release today:
It’s with deep regret that Enclave and Adam “DJ A.M.” Goldstein and management inform you that Adam has personally decided to opt out of all gigs requiring him to fly. He was scheduled to board a flight that he had a “bad feeling about” a few weeks ago. Instead, Adam took it upon himself to drive to the venue because he didn’t want to chance anything. That flight later crashed and resulted in deaths and critical injury.
Please accept our apologies and we look forward to letting you know when Adam is comfortable making the long flight again!

There were no critical injuries on the flight that crashed. There were no survivors, and one person was killed in the house that the plane crashed into. Had he gotten on that plane, he would have perished along with everyone else.

Whoa dude…. I think death is looking for you… 1st obesity creeped up on you and you had the gastric bypass surgery… 2nd the plane crash that you survived and now this flight that you were meant to be on crashed???? Dude… Just kill yourself already…

that is unreal that he was supposed to be on that plane. I’ll bet he never gets on a plane ever again. this reinforces my intense fear of flying as well!

its just an extremely unlikely coicidence (like 1 in a bilion, almost unique) or a sly publicity stunt. Whatever, don’t fly like anybody really gives a shiiii…..

Oh yeah, he was supposed to take a Continental flight…I know it’s a recession but his money can’t be that short that he would book on Continental before Delta, United, or U.S. Airways. I’ll believe it when I see the itinerary.

I hate flying and this totally freaks me out.
