Anne Heche and beau James Tupper welcomed their first child together over the weekend, a son named Atlas, a source tells Usmagazine.com.

Heche finalized her divorce from ex Coley Laffoon — the father of her 7-year-old son, Homer — earlier this week. “Homer is very excited to be a big brother,” the source tells Us.

Heche exclusively confirmed she was pregnant to Usmagazine.com in December. “They are thrilled,” her rep told Us then.

She and Tupper first met in 2006 on the set of their short-lived ABC drama Men In Trees (I miss that show!) while Heche was still wed to Laffoon. “In that friendship, we kind of discovered we saw the world in a somewhat similar way,” Tupper, who was also married at the time, told the Vancouver Sun in 2007. “I think we both made decisions that were based on the relationships we were in.”
