Awkward Oscar Moment: Jennifer Aniston Presents Oscar Award in Front of Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt
Jennifer Aniston went face to face with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at the 81st annual Academy Awards Sunday in Hollywood. It is first time all three have been in the same room since Pitt and Aniston split in 2005.
Along with Jolie’s Kung Fu Panda costar Jack Black, the Valentino-clad Aniston (who skipped the red carpet at Sunday’s show) presented Best Animated Feature.
They originally stood to the side of the stage.
When Black made a joke about how all Pixar films win Oscars, Aniston said, “I apologize Mr. Katzenberg [Jeffrey Katzenberg is the co-founder of Dreamworks], I don’t know why we let him out of the house.”
The camera then panned to Jolie, who laughed.
When Aniston announced the nominees, she moved to the center of the stage, right in front of Jolie and Pitt. When the lights were down, Aniston smiled directly at Pitt, but not at Jolie.
Aniston then presented Best Short Film; both Pitt and Jolie kept huge smiles on their faces the entire time.
As Aniston walked off stage, Jolie and Pitt both clapped.
Black told Us afterwards, “Jen did fine. She’s a pro!”
Aniston and her date for the night, John Mayer, sat behind and to the side of Pitt and Jolie.
Asked by Us earlier in the night if she was nervous, Aniston told Us, “Yes!”

she was terrible and cringeworthy. i cant believe that people find her funny. definitely most awkward part of the show. she should think about taking some lessons from ben stiller and natalie portman. they were hilarious.

well it’s not like she wrote the material. she had every reason to be nervous. i totally felt for her. everyone of us has been dumped or gone through a bad break up but seriously can you even imagine being dumped for one of the most beautiful/famous women in the world infront of the world?? i think jen has really been a woman of integrity and class in such a difficult situation. if we were all honest with ourselves…how many of us would still be bitter and scorned? c’mon. i know i would…hopefully not to the point that it would take my life over but damn it’d be hard not too. especially when the other woman is freakishly beautiful.

she looked sooooo nervous!!! i mean when she finished the first she just want to get out of there!!! running!!! then she was like “oh we haven’t finished” or sth like that but she wasn’t good at aaaall!!!!!!!!

she did great but she was nervous so wood i be if all the world looked ad me to see how i reagt ad thees to fake smile mrs mr twit and twat jen look absolutly gorgeous the hair the dress just stunning on the other hand mrs twat looked old and arogant in her can not fill out dress i dont get it i dont see whats beautiful about her ad all to skinny no ass her tits are not flattering ad all enormes head her legs are just awfull so are her arms
