Kate Moss has long been famed for her waif-like figure and her reluctance to wear a bra.

But it appears age is catching up with the supermodel as she admits her metabolism is slowing down and she has started gaining weight.

While still remarkably slim, the 35-year-old model said she can finally fit into a B-cup bra after her chest began filling out.

Kate’s admission comes a week after she was photographed showing a curvier figure while dining in London with boyfriend Jamie Hince and retail tycoon pal Sir Philip Green.

Speaking to New York magazine in a joint interview with Sir Philip, Kate admitted she had only just started wearing bras after managing to go without throughout her modelling career.

She said: ‘I’ve just started wearing bras. It’s a miracle. Not today, but I have been. Great timing for my (Topshop) lingerie collection.

‘I’ve just grown breasts. I am a woman now! It’s true.

‘No, honestly, I’ve never worn a bra in my life. Ever! It’s so awful, even my friends are phoning me up and saying “Are you pregnant?” And I’m like, “No! I just put on a couple of pounds, and they went in the right place.”

‘Isn’t that weird? And how perfect for lingerie…. Now I can fill a B-cup.’

During the interview, Kate tries on a dress – a present from ‘Uncle Phil’ – and admits she’s not sure if she likes her bigger breasts.

She said: ‘My boobs are too big… My boyfriend might not like them. I’m a bit worried.’

In the rare interview, Kate admits she was thoroughly unimpressed by Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes when they ‘cut in line’ at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala in New York last year.

Kate attended with her designer friend Stella McCartney, while Katie and Tom were guests of Giorgio Armani.

The model admits she was frustrated waiting an hour to meet the hosts without a cigarette and grew even more angry when she saw the Hollywood stars waltz straight into the venue.

Kate complained: ‘We stood in line for an hour or something to say hello to the meet and greet in the receiving line… we’re going, I can’t believe this. You can’t smoke. You can’t have a drink…

‘We were like, What? Tom and Katie just walked right up to the front, and we were like, “Who the f**k are they? They’re not even in fashion.”‘

During the interview, Sir Philip reminds Kate of a new year’s resolution she made to quit smoking, but she tells him to ’shut up’.
