Heather Locklear’s driving under the influence case has been dismissed, TMZ.com reports.

The actress’ lawyer entered her no contest plea for a misdemeanor reckless driving charge Friday morning in a Santa Barbara, California, court, the Web site reports. A judge placed Locklear — who was not present — on three years probation, and ordered her to pay a $700 fine and attend a 12-hour drug education class.

Locklear was arrested in September for allegedly driving under the influence of prescription medicine. The district attorney said her blood tests showed no trace of alcohol.

Meanwhile, E! says she’s been approached to reprise her role in the upcoming Melrose Place spinoff.

“The CW is courting Heather Locklear,” a source tells the network. “I don’t think anyone else from the original has been approached yet.”

A rep for Locklear denies the report.

I went and saw Marley & Me last night with the girls, and I cried like a two year old.

I was very skeptical about seeing it, it wasn’t on my top 5 list of movies to see.  While I love Jennifer Aniston, let’s face it – her movies generally suck.  I was very disappointed with The Break Up, Rumor Has It, Derailed & Along Came Polly.  The only exception to this is Friends With Money, but she had a supporting role in that movie.  Then, I had a friend tell me that the best actor in the movie was the dog, and so I thought – great – another crappy Jennifer Aniston movie.

But almost immediately I fell in love with this movie.  I instantly connected with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson – and the story just evolved beautifully.  Unfortunately, I didn’t read the book (something I’m probably going to have to correct here soon) so I wasn’t aware of the ending.  The girl sitting next to us pulled out a wad of tissues before the movie even started, and said “I’ve got my crying tissues!”.  So I knew it was coming.

We hit the same girl up for those very tissues at the end of the movie.  The ending is just so emotional – and moving.  I cried and cried and cried… and had to do a makeup check after the movie was over.

Basically what I’m saying is I loved the movie.  It really was a great film.  Owen Wilson did amazing, Jennifer Aniston was suprisingly good, and the dog just steals the show.

At PG – it’s a film for the whole family, though the ending is pretty intense.

Forget trainers and two-hour gym workouts. Kate Winslet has another secret to her movie-star figure: 20 minutes and a DVD.

Winslet, who at 33 is a slim size 6 (UK size 10), tells the UK edition of Elle that “I don’t go to the gym because I don’t have time, but I do Pilates workout DVDs for 20 minutes or more every day at home.”

And, Winslet says, she’s been the same since she had her second child, Joe, five years ago.

“I still don’t believe this craziness for being skinny, but I eat sensibly and I don’t stuff down chocolate biscuits,” she tells the magazine in its February edition.

Despite a set of stunning, sexy shots in Elle that show off her body, she is modest about her shape, calling herself “pretty average.” She adds, “I have cellulite, I have a rumply tummy and my boobs have dropped. I did think that post-kids, my sex scenes days were over.”

Far from it. Both her current movies – Revolutionary Road, directed by her second husband Sam Mendes, 43, and costarring Leonardo DiCaprio, and The Reader – contain sex scenes.

Winslet also talks about her enduring friendship with DiCaprio, the Titanic costar with whom she broke box-office records a decade ago. “He’s part of the family and I love that he’s matured into this kind, dedicated man. When we work together we instinctively know what the other one is thinking.”

As for the legacy of Titanic, the English-born New Yorker says she has an “absolute fear” that her daughter Mia, 8, is now old enough to watch the biggest movie of her mom’s career while on a playdate. “It may sound silly,” she tells Elle, “but I want that to be something we all share as a family.”
