Ashley Greene still thinks Twilight star Robert Pattinson is “totally adorable,” but she’s not thrilled he cut off his signature long locks.
“I heard he got in trouble for cutting his hair,” Greene, who will return in the much-anticipated Twilight follow-up, New Moon, as vampire beauty Alice Cullen, told us last night at the In Style/WB Golden Globes afterparty. “But what can I say? I like guys with longer hair.”
She promises not to raz the British hottie too much about the new ‘do.
“I think he’s getting enough flack, I’m sure,” she said. “I mean his every move is recorded and photographed and documented, so I’m not going to give him a hard time.”

The usually connected-at-the-hip Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson haven’t been seen together much lately, but the Mean Girls star wants to put to rest rumors that they’ve split. “We never broke up,” Lindsay tells Life & Style. “People don’t have to be together every second. It’s healthy to miss someone, and if you’re in it for the long run, it’s good to know that.”
An insider close to the starlet says the girls are dialing things down — to save their relationship. “They needed space and time,” says the insider. “They’ve been on top of each other with living and work and life. Lindsay’s now in a new house around the corner from Sam. It’s going to allow them some space.”
Still, they’re spending time together. The couple stepped out on Jan. 12 for dinner at West Hollywood’s Matsuhisa. And Lindsay and Sam haven’t changed their Facebook statuses from “in a relationship,” although Linds did update her Facebook page several times in the early morning of Jan. 9 with cryptic messages like “Lindsay deserves the best and the truth,” and “Happiness and love are just a choice away.”
Rough patches are nothing new for the volatile couple. “They break up and make up all the time,” says the Lindsay insider. “There are a lot of speed bumps in this relationship — but that’s part of the attraction.”

Cancer-stricken actor Patrick Swayze, who was hospitalized Friday for pneumonia, is “doing fine,” his mother, Patsy Swayze, told Usmagazine.com on Monday. “He sounds really upbeat and positive. “We don’t talk about illness when I talk to him,” she said. “He hasn’t even been there a week!”
In an ABC primetime special last week, Swayze, 56, denied that he was on his deathbed but said he may have only two years to live. “I’d say five years is pretty wishful thinking,” said The Beast actor, who revealed he had Stage 4 pancreatic cancer last year. “Two years seems likely if you’re going to believe statistics. “I want to last until they find a cure, which means I’d better get a fire under it.”

On Monday – only two days shy of a month after giving birth to her second child – Naomi Watts was close to having back her pre-baby figure, as evidenced at the Cinema Society and Nextbook.org-sponsored New York premiere of her partner Liev Schreiber’s World War II drama Defiance.
How did she manage to drop the baby weight so quickly? “I’m breast feeding,” Watts, 40, told PEOPLE about her routine with Samuel Kai Schreiber. “And he’s sucking it all out of me, it seems. And when the baby comes out, it’s a lot of weight right there.”
A couple since 2005, Watts, 40, and Schreiber, 41, also have another son, Alexander Pete Schreiber, born in July 2007.
“They’re very different,” Watts said of her two boys. “[Sammy]‘s more fragile, in a way. But I don’t know, maybe I’ve forgotten how small they are. [Alexander] is only 18 months old.
“And I’ve also got this big baby right here,” she said, pointing to Schreiber at her side on the red carpet.
