Jessica Simpson Steps Out Amidst Weight Controversy
Jessica Simpson stepped out in Virginia Wednesday night as buzz continues to build over her curvier new figure.
Bundled up in a gray jacket, dark sunglasses and a hat, the usually bubbly 28-year-old singer — who is set to perform with Rascal Flatts today at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville — looked solemn.
She smiled a bit when photographers told her she was stunning and beautiful.

This makes me so mad. She is such a beautiful woman who looks lovely and normal. I can’t imagine dealing with personal insecurities and then waking up to headlines about your weight… Appalling!

The attention she got is appalling! I wish I were as “fat” as everyone claims she is. Although she drives me nut, she is a beautiful woman and shouldn’t be judged in this manner. But, I must admit, I wish she would have picked a better outfit. I think the outfit made her look bad and it was a poor choice. I would fire whoever told her she looked good in it. I don’t think anyone could have pulled that look off.

I would love to see her come out and say “this is me, and I’m beautiful no matter what”. She is beautiful and stunning. Yes, she has put on some weight, but it hasn’t made her any less attractive. I still think she’s a ditz, but she doesn’t deserve the attention for putting on weight. But then again, that’s Hollywood for ya!
