My Review: Benjamin Button

I went and saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button over the weekend, and I have to say I absolutely LOVED it. It’s almost 3 hours (like Australia) and I couldn’t even tell.
I thought the whole movie was amazing. The special affects are spectacular. How they did half the things they did in this movie, is beyond me. How they made Brad Pitt look 80 years old AND a teenager, I’ll never know. I loved how the story unfolded with Julia Ormond and Cate Blanchett. And man, is there anything Cate Blanchett does poorly? She was exquisite in this movie. Absolutely stunning!
You get sucked into this movie immediately, and the story is so beautiful. The relationships between Benjamin and his father, mother and his friend the captain - are each wonderfully told, and amazing to watch.
I think David Fincher did such a fantastic job with this movie. I loved every single minute of it, and it will easily go down as one of my favorite movies of 2008.
And we cannot talk about this movie without talking about how absolutely GORGEOUS Brad Pitt is when he hits his “prime” in the movie. I don’t think Brad Pitt has ever looked better. It is worth paying the $10 to see him look so beautiful. Man - oh - man… he’s so hot.
Benjamin Button is up for many Golden Globes - including Best Picture & Best Actor. It definitely deserves to win!!
Go see it!

I LOVED it as well. I laughed and cried. They all did an amazing job!
I read on IMDB that it took like 2 other people to play the “old” Brad Pitt- they did an awesome job at making them llok like him!!!!
Hands down, Cate is my favorite actress!!!! What a great great story!

i also saw Ben Button’s last week. I thought it was alright. Nothing spectacular. The story never really got me THAT interested and I found it distracting that Brad was under all that make-up and special effects. All I could think about the whole time was when is he going to be young and beautiful. When he finally was … OMG he was. (can ANYONE wear white t-shirts they way our Brad does??? - HOT)
I was looking forward to this movie for months, in some way it let me down and in other’s it didn’t.
As always Kate was amazing, there’s nothing that she can’t do.
I really can’t decide if i loved it or if it was just the middle of the road good.
It was worth the 10 bucks to see Brad in that t-shirt though!.

I loved this movie. I saw it with my brother and he loved it too! It definatley has a bit of everything, romance, humor, action, etc. It was so good. I have to admit I was a little worried, usually when movies get so much Oscar hype they really suck (There Will Be Blood Anyone?) but it was really good. The make-up was awesome. I have never really found Brad Pitt all that hot, but that scene where he’s younger on the motorcycle is totally hot.
I didn’t notice it was 3 hours either. It was a great movie!

I loved this movie too. Brad Pitt was back to his Thelma & Louise HOTNESS. It made me think, it made me cry. I really wanted to see it because I absolutely love Cate Blanchett but I just saw an amazing tale. I
What amazed me the most was that no matter what he took everything in stride.
