Katie Holmes Celebrates 30th Birthday on Stage — With Cake From Tom
Katie Holmes celebrated her 30th birthday Thursday on the Broadway stage — with a little help from the All My Sons audience and husband Tom Cruise.
Although Cruise was in Los Angeles at the Valkyrie premiere, he was still there in spirit.
He tells Usmagazine.com that he arranged that Holmes be presented with a specially-made birthday cake as the curtain fell.
“I set up whole thing,” he told Us at the Valkyrie premiere. “The cast came out with a huge cake. The audience sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to her. It was really nice. You know, I plan it out. I think ahead.”
He added that they also “celebrated” Wednesday night before he left for L.A.
“And I’ve had a lot of surprises for her throughout the day,” he added.
Next up for the Cruise clan: Christmas!
“We’re just gonna chill,” he told Us. “We haven’t decided where we’ll be yet.”
