Did Jamie Lynn Spears have liposuction while she was pregnant?

With a five-month-old daughter at home, Jamie Lynn Spears should be celebrating motherhood. Instead, the former TV star is fearful that controversial plastic surgery she had while pregnant could have caused long-term harm to baby Maddie.
Star Magazine is reporting that Jamie Lynn had just finished her hit Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 when she found the weight piling on. Not realizing she was expecting, she pleaded with her mom, Lynne Spears, to let her get liposuction, says a source.
“She didn’t know she was pregnant when she filled out the health questionnaire prior to the procedure,” a second source reveals. “Her mom approved the injections and went through tons of red tape to get the clinic to administer them to an underage patient.”
Moms-to-be are advised against the procedure.
“Any form of liposuction is dangerous and should not be performed on a pregnant woman,” plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Burton tells Star. “It poses serious health risks to the fetus.”

I don’t know about the States, but up here in Canada you’re required to take blood tests prior to any cosmetic surgery, which would prove whether the patient is pregnant or not. Pregnant patients will usually be denied surgery.
She either saw somebody who didn’t mind doing it to her, or this is all bull. Anyway, I heard she’s suing the Star.

If this is true this would be a terrible surgery for liposuction. I would not do this. http://azlipo.com/arizona-liposuction.aspx

I operate with these dogs and as far as animal behavior goes, I am a solid believer in nurture and exercising. I’ve met Jack Russell Terriers that I wouldn’t go near once again, but have in no way had a negative knowledge with an American Staffordshire Terrier. If you’re talking about their owners- nicely, which is a diverse story. Humans are animals as well, and we often each have our individual concepts about “moral concepts”.
