ET spoke with Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky in New York City where the actress filmed a guest appearance on “Ugly Betty”.
Nikki confirms that director John Waters is currently working on a script for the next Hairspray and said she would be thrilled to once again be involved in the project, “All I have to say, on the record: I am so down… I am ready to play Tracy Turnblad again!”
Nikki also said a big draw of making another Hairspray would be the opportunity to possibly work again with John Travolta, who played the part of her character’s mother in the first film.
