Courtney Love: “I Am Not Suicidal”
Courtney Love wants you to know she doesn’t want to end her life.
She recently alarmed fans in a bizarre rant on her MySpace blog about death.
But in a new post, she writes, “No, I am not suicidal. Occasionally, like all of us, I get depressed.”
After revealing that she suffered a “mini little depression attack” more than a year ago, Love (whose husband, Kurt Cobain, killed himself) says she has learned that “medication is not the answer” to dealing with her mood swings. (For the record, she credits yoga, a good diet and Kombucha tea.)
Love says all of the negative press she has received from bloggers is affecting her 16-year-old daughter Frances Bean.”PLEASE leave my kid out of it. When I make a technical booboo or get a little whacky [sic] … [it’s] my problem,” she writes.
She goes on to say she’s quitting blogging so she doesn’t “upset” her daughter anymore.
