Prince speaks out on homosexuals.
This is awfully ironic to me, because for YEARS I thought Prince was gay himself! I mean look at that picture! C’mon now!
Religious rocker Prince is knocking on the doors of U.S. politicians, preaching about his faith as a Jehovah’s Witness.
The Sexy M.F. singer became a Jehovah’s Witness in 2001 and is using the faith to fight what he considers the extreme ideals held by America’s duelling political parties.
He tells the New Yorker magazine, “Here’s how it is: you’ve got the Republicans, and basically they want to live according to this (the Bible). But there’s the problem of interpretation, and you’ve got some churches, some people, basically doing things and saying it comes from here, but it doesn’t.
“And then on the opposite end of the spectrum you’ve got blue, you’ve got the Democrats, and they’re, like, ‘You can do whatever you want’. Gay marriage, whatever. But neither of them is right.”
When asked about his perspective on social issues including gay marriage and abortion, the singer reportedly tapped a copy of the Bible, adding, “God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough’.”

Ok, I am a Jehovah’s Witness, and I will tell you this: Do not let “Prince” be any sort of influence on you as to who Witnesses are. Please? Ok? Thank you. One other thing: We do not believe that God came to earth and “cleared” it out. We believe in Jesus and that he came to earth to teach about God. The next time Jehovah’s Witnesses come to your door, please ask them to explain this better.

When he said God cleared it out – I am pretty sure he meant the flood. And Jehovah’s Witnesses are christians. Christians are people who believe Jesus is their savior. And JW’s believe Jesus is their savior, he came to earth and died for our sins. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe God’s name is Jehovah (psalms 83:18). Jehovah’s first born son (first born of all creation) is Jesus. Jesus came to earth to offer his perfect human life so all people mayy have the chance of everlasting life. I get confused about Prince’s beliefs. Because sone of his music is still questionable to me. But that is my opinion, and only Jehovah reads the heart. If you read study bibles for NIV and and KJ – they explain that they removed God’s name Jehovah and replaced it with God and Lord. But the bible also sayd do not take form or add to the bible – wouldnt that fall in there? The english translation of Gods name is Jehovah. And the bible said “You will be a people of my name” So that is why Jehovah’s Witnesses are named Jehovah’s Witnesses.
