Would Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford ever appear on the buzzed-about Melrose Place spin-off?

Maybe.

“If they offered me a lot of money!” she joked with Usmagazine.com Wednesday at a bash for the FURLA Talent Hub in NYC. “I don’t know, maybe, as a guest spot.”

Added Rutherford (who played Dr. Michael Mancini’s wife Megan on the Fox primetime soap): “It would really depend, I think, on the script and how they would want me to come back.”

For now, “I’m on Gossip Girl, which seems to be going well,” she told Us.

She said the season is heating up.

They recently filmed a death scene for an upcoming episode that “is really sad,” she said. “But in a way, it spins the show in a really cool direction, and you see a lot of emotions in everybody.

“It’s cool,” she went on. “It bonds everybody in a very different way.”

Is it wrong that I can’t stand Beyonce?  I watched the video below for her song, “Single Ladies” and it makes me want to reach through my computer and pop her head off with my thumb.   I can’t help it.  She annoys the crap out of me!

I had decided I wasn’t going to read the Twilight books. I avoided them like I avoided the Harry Potter books. They were SO BIG and EVERYONE was talking about them, and for some reason I felt like I didn’t want to jump on the bandwagon and read them. PLUS reading the Harry Potter series is a very daunting task – there are so many freaking books! I had all but given up on the Twilight books as well – I thought I’m never going to read these 4 huge books. Then my sister in law gave me all four books – and told me I HAD TO read them. I thought – well, this is a sign…I have to read them now!

I sat down last night, and instead of watching tv (shocking, I know) I read 100 pages of the first book. I would have read more, if I could have. It was awesome! It’s a really easy read – and it’s totally addictive. I can see how Trista made it through all four books in just over 3 weeks. They are hard to put down!!

Have any of you read the books? I’m hoping to get them done before I see the movie!

Gwen Stefani has officially introduced the world to her newborn son Zuma.

On Wednesday, she posted an adorable portrait of her and her 2-month-old on her Web site.

“We wanted to share with you the first photo of Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale,” she writes. “Gwen, Gavin, Kingston and Zuma are all doing well and enjoying being a party of four.”

On Wednesday, Stefani gave photographers a glimpse of Zuma as the two visited a library in Beverly Hills.

“He’s amazing, he’s very sweet,” pop Gavin Rossdale told Usmagazine.com of their newborn at Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood bash last week.

Stefani and Rossdale – who recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary – welcomed the baby this past August.

Their son Kingston is 2.

Mariah Carey stops by Rachel Ray’s afternoon show to chat about her whirlwind romance with hubby Nick Cannon, her rules to live by, and her hidden talent and back up career! Who knew Mariah went to beauty school? Plus Mariah shares her Halloween plans.

On How Nick and Mariah Became a Couple:

RR: Was it really hard for Nick getting up the courage to ask you out?

MC: He was doing things like always on the who was your celebrity crush and always saying me, and he feels like he has spoke us into existence. He already put in the work on that end, and people would always tell me, and I’d be like ‘Do I believe that? I don’t know if believe that he really said that?’ And then I found out that he said it, and backstage at an award show I said ‘Thanks for all the nice things you have been saying about me!’ and he said he meant every word of it. That was our first introduction, and when we were doing the video it just seemed like we knew each other forever.

On Mariah’s Rules to Avoiding Embarrassing Paparazzi Photos:

RR: Just a simple thing like getting out of a car is a big deal for someone like you. How do you get out of a car successfully?

MC: It’s been really difficult. It’s been one of those things that I needed to learn how to do, but I was always aware of it thank god.

RR: Can you imagine having to be aware of how you get out of a car. It is like the simplest thing.

MC: They got me one time, but thank god I had underwear on! You know it was like I was very thankful for that. But I think what you have to do is you lead with the leg, and then kind of place the hand down, and then you are up. If someone is standing in front of you then you proceed to walk.

On Mariah’s Halloween Costume Choices:

RR: So what are our Halloween costume choices?

MC: Well over the years I have been a lot of different costumes. I’ve been a mermaid, they’re all the sexy version. I go that route. Shocking. The mermaid, the nurse, the showgirl, I’ve done all those things. This year Nick and I are going to do the whole thing together…Here are the options: one is a sexy firefighter. Do we like that for me? He can be a regular firefighter guy… then we have an Egyptian…the third one takes a little imagination here. I would be chocolate chip cookies. The way that is, is it’s just like a two piece little number and its made out of the chocolate chip cookie fabric. But then you have actual cookies sewn on.

RR: In interesting places? And is he a glass of milk then?

MC: He made this up and he was only kidding, but I liked it. He would be a milk carton with a missing sign over his head.

On Mariah’s Back Up Career:

RR: Believe it or not, Mariah Carey would be a hair dresser and make-up artist.

MC: I went to beauty school, but I dropped out.

“The Insider” breaks news that “Dancing with the Stars” pro Lacey Schwimmer was just diagnosed today with the same condition Julianne Hough suffers from.

Lacey tells “The Insider” exclusively that she learned – just today — that she too has endometriosis – only after her fellow dancer Julianne Hough was diagnosed with the condition. Lacey tells “The Insider” that she saw a doctor after realizing that she had many of the same symptoms as Julianne, and that she never would have gotten it checked out if it wasn’t for Julianne.

Luckily, Lacey only has the early stage of the condition, and is currently only taking medication for it. She tells us that surgery isn’t necessary at this time.

Julianne underwent surgery related to her endometriosis on Tuesday.
