Anne Hathaway has hit out at her friends for believing tabloid rumours about her love life – including the suggestion she is a lesbian.
The actress has been the subject of much gossip since she split with Italian businessman Raffaelo Follieri, who was arrested on charges of fraud shortly after they parted ways.
But she insists she’s still single, and is sick of fielding calls from girl pals who believe every word they read.
She says, “I don’t look at gossip magazines and websites, but my friends do and they call me out of the blue and ask me if I’m dating someone.
“Apparently I’ve dated Josh Lucas, Brody Jenner – I didn’t know who he was – and of course there’s the rumour that I’m dating Emily Blunt.”
