Shirley Maclaine vows to never return to Broadway

Shirley MacLaine has vowed never to return to Broadway – because she feels too old to sing and dance on stage.
MacLaine began her film career following a stint on the New York stage in 1954′s The Pajama Game.
But at 74-years-old, MacLaine insists her lifelong career in entertainment has suppressed her desire to return to Broadway.
She says, “I can barely walk across town now. I don’t think so (I will return). When you start (dancing) at three like I did, it becomes second nature and it’s not necessarily such a wonderful thing when you get older. I don’t like the exercise.”
Can you blame her? At her age, I’d feel like I’ve worked all of my life. It’s time for a break!
