Jessica Simpson admits she “wanted to die” during her public divorce from ex-husband Nick Lachey.
“It’s one thing to have your marriage fail, but then there’s another thing to have the entire world watch your marriage fail. It’s like dealing with a death,” said Simpson in a revealing interview with People magaizine.
The blond singer is not keeping quiet her feelings for the new man in her life, Dallas Cowboys football star Tony Romo, calling him the “perfect guy.” She even wrote a song about him called “You’re My Sunday.” Touchdown!
Simpson also revealed that she has had some lovin’ that hasn’t been so public.
“I’ve had secret lovers. I can keep some things quiet,” she said.
And she hasn’t only moved on, she’s making sure the past stays there.
“I don’t want anybody that’s been in my life [before] in my life anymore,” she said. “I don’t even want them to have any way of contacting me.”

Lindsay Lohan’s uncle has been sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison for defrauding the U.S. government of terrorist relief funds.
Paul Sullivan was jailed on Thursday after pleading guilty to one count of mail fraud in April 2006 after pocketing $132,000 of a $650,000 loan from the Small Business Administration.
The 50-year-old brother of Lohan’s mother Dina claimed his car company lost business after terrorist attacks on New York’s World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
Sullivan reportedly broke down in tears in the courtroom when the Long Island, New York judge delivered his sentencing.
He has also been ordered to pay back the $650,000 SBA loan.

Wow. Holy TV goodness!
Jennifer Aniston will be returning to NBC’s Must-See Thursday this fall, appearing in an episode of NBC’s 30 Rock, a solid source familiar with the deal just confirmed to me.
“She is shooting now,” says the insider. “We are not giving any specifics on her character.”
The show’s rep says, “Unfortunately, NBC is unable to confirm.”
Given the Saturday Night Live-esque nature of the series, Aniston could be playing either herself or a scripted character. As soon as we have more details, we will post them right here.
Aniston is actually the second Friends alum to come on the series—David Schwimmer also guested as Greenzo during last season’s environmental episode. And the show’s astounding seven guest-star Emmy nominations clearly provided good motivation for Aniston to get back in the Must-See game.
The new season of 30 Rock premieres Oct. 30, when the series also welcomes back Emmy nominee Will Arnett.

Miley Cyrus has come under fire from Heidi Klum’s fashion guru Tim Gunn for dressing too old for her age.
The Project Runway host has hit out at the 15-year-old Disney star, insisting she dresses “too tarty” for teen audiences.
Gunn tells OK!, “Forgive me. She’s just a little too tart. I don’t want her to look like she’s going into a convent school. But it’s just a little too much for a 15-year-old. If I didn’t know better, I’d swear she was 25.”

Guy Ritchie has branded rumors he and wife Madonna are set to renew their wedding vows as “rubbish” – because he spent too much money on her 50th birthday celebrations.
The couple were rumored to be planning to remarry in a Kabbalah ceremony later this month.
But the moviemaker is adamant they won’t be heading down the aisle for a second time – because their lavish 2000 marriage in the Scottish Highlands was all they needed.
Ritchie says, “Rubbish (rumors of renewing wedding vows). I think once was enough. And I’ve just paid out on a big party for her birthday. I bought her two original Hermes drawings of equestrian thingies (sic) – but trust me, the party was infinitely more expensive than the paintings.”
