This video is 10 MINUTES LONG! It has to be the worst music video I’ve ever seen! I know it’s supposed to be a joke, but man – it’s not funny in the slightest. I don’t find myself even cracking a smile once. Does she know how stupid she looks in this video? I don’t know who directed this video, but I wouldn’t want my name attached to this.
I just want to slap her!
Heidi Montag has debuted her new music video (above) for “Overdosin.’”
The Hills star, 21, plays an ’80s aerobics instructor as she dances around in lycra, legwarmers and a sweatband.
The pop song, released last week, “is about when you fall in love with someone,” she recently told Ryan Seacrest. “[About] how I feel about Spencer and my relationship.”
When Seacrest asked if a wedding could possibly inspire her next single, she joked, “I’m waiting for the ring to make that song.”
Look for more from Montag and Pratt ahead, who have volunteered to take over the MTV reality hit next season if Lauren Conrad decides to step down.
“I think that maybe Lauren is tired of [being on the show], but we’re just beginning,” she told Seacrest. “We’re not even remotely sick of it.”
The first official production photo from the new Jim Carrey comedy I Love You Phillip Morris has been revealed on JimCarreyOnline. Adapted from Steve McVicker’s 2003 novel, and based on a true story. Carrey plays Russell, a criminal who falls in love with his cell mate, Phillip Morris (Ewan McGregor). After Morris’ release from prison, Russell attempts a variety of bizarre prison escapes in hopes of reuniting with the love of his life. The movie was apparently pitched as “Catch Me if You Can meets Brokeback Mountain“. The screenplay was witten by the team who did Bad Santa. You can read the actual book description below.
Steven Russell possessed unusual talents-he was a jailhouse Houdini with a specialty in fraud. Staging his escapes on a series of Friday the thirteenths, he managed to outwit the Texas criminal justice experts in four ingenious jailbreaks. The first time, he simply waved a walkie-talkie convincingly and was buzzed out by an affable guard. Another time he used a green pen and a bucket of water to concoct surgical scrubs and sauntered out. His ensuing escapes grew more audacious, as did his plans to reunite with his co-convict lover. Award-winning journalist Steve McVicker captures with a pitch-perfect blend of humor and disbelief the real-life story of Steven Russell, a con man so shrewd, relentless, and incorrigible that he’d be walking free today, if it weren’t for his fatal aw-he’s in love with a man named Phillip Morris. Written with exclusive cooperation and disclosure from Russell, who’s serving 45 years plus 99 years in a maximum-security jail (at least, for now), I Love You Phillip Morris tells an oddball American tall tale of what can happen when mocking the law, a daredevil spirit, and undying love collide.
Yesterday, the Internet was buzzing that Paula Abdul didn’t approve of American Idol’s decision to hire a fourth judge, songwriter Kara DioGuardi.
But judging from the A.I. queen’s conversation with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show today, it seems as though Paula couldn’t be more thrilled to have her pal Kara—whose career she claims to have launched—join her, Simon and Randy at the judges’ table.
Paula tells Ryan she met Kara outside a restaurant in New York when Kara was a Billboard magazine employee with songwriting dreams. After meeting her that day, Paula convinced Idol’s newbie judge to drop everything and move to L.A. with her.
Says Paula: “[Kara] was my roommate! And I took her all around the world with me and introduced her to wonderful people…She stayed in Sweden and wrote with these people and got started living her dream.”
Not only does Paula sound enthusiastic about Kara in general, but when Ryan asked her where Kara will sit at the judges’ table, Paula said, “I dunno. Hopefully next to me.” But in case that proves distracting, Paula continues, “we’ll probably be separated by Simon or something.”
