Dave Matthews Band saxophonist LeRoi Moore dies
LeRoi Moore, a saxophonist and founding member of the Dave Matthews Band, died Tuesday in Los Angeles of complications from an all-terrain vehicle accident in June, the band’s rep announced.
Moore, who had recently returned to his house in L.A. to begin a physical rehabilitation program, died at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, according to the rep.
On June 30, Moore was injured in an ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Va., and hospitalized for several days in serious condition. He was readmitted to the hospital in Virginia last month for an undisclosed period due to complications from the accident, the band announced at the time.
