Richard Dreyfuss sues his dad & uncle for fraud

Anyone who’s seen Jaws knows Richard Dreyfuss ain’t afraid of sharks.
The 60-year-old Oscar-winner filed a lawsuit against his father and uncle on Friday for refusing to repay a $870,000 loan from 1984.
Dreyfuss says he gave his relatives the good faith loan 24 years ago to bail them out of trouble that involved an office building in downtown Los Angeles. The star of Mr. Holland’s Opus claims he hasn’t received a dime from them since and that his uncle, Gilbert Dreyfuss, is refusing to turn over financial records.
The actor, who is playing Vice President Dick Cheney in Oliver Stone’s biopic W, alleges his uncle and father, Norman Dreyfuss, have acted with “fraud” and “malice.” He wants his money back — plus interest — and is also seeking punitive damages.

Isn’t there a Statute of Limitations on loans? And whythe hell would he sue his own family. Low-life!

I’m sorry, but . . . what a d**k! There has to be a better way to come to terms with this kind of situation.

The 2 previous posters are lowlifes who most likely have debts to other people they never have paid back no matter how many years have passed.
Lowlifes like these are the reason why less people are willing to help out another in need… because it’s all been ruined by their selfishness.
Kick their asses, Richard. You’re doing the right thing.
