Tommy Lee wants Johnny Depp to play him in a movie based on Motley Crue’s memoirs.

The drummer insists Depp is the perfect actor to portray him on the big screen – because he thinks he and the Pirates of The Caribbean star share many of the same character traits.

Lee says, “Johnny Depp would be my choice to play me. He’s the best (actor) ever. We’re working on the film, trying to find the right producers and director and all that sort of stuff.”

Michelle Williams is keen to make sure her next romance is for real – after a broken engagement left her upset about the time and money she’d spent on it.

The singer picked up last-minute plane flights so she could be with her unnamed fiance during breaks in her Destiny’s Child schedule and, at one point, racked up a $10,000 cell phone bill just chatting to her man while she was on tour.

Williams also spent a lot of time planning a dream wedding and moving house only for her romance dreams to be left in tatters when her fiance began to get cold feet.

Eventually, the singer called off the engagement and she and her one-time fiance mutually agreed to split, leaving her to pick up the pieces of a broken dream and counting the emotional and financial cost of her failed romance.

She says, “Relationships get very expensive… You try to fly on the red-eye (overnight plane) home, you try to spend time (with him). When I was overseas, I racked up a $10,000 cell phone bill.”

But Williams insists the experience won’t put her off getting married: “I’m not weary of it at all. I do believe there is a particular gentleman out there for me who will come when I least expect it.”

Amy Winehouse has been offered a $2 million pay cheque to play a private gig for the Prince of Brunei.

Prince Azim has approached the Rehab hitmaker to perform a string of hits at a bash in November, according to reports.

Winehouse is said to be considering the staggering fee. If she accepts, it won’t be her first multi-million dollar concert.

She was hired by Daria Zhukova, the girlfriend of Russian billionaire businessman Roman Abramovich, to sing at an art gallery in Moscow in June; she was reportedly paid $2 million for the show.

And back in February, Winehouse graced the catwalk at a Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris, France, where she sang her hit songs in exchange for a cool $1 million.

Sarah Larson is laughing off reports she is dating British tough guy Jason Statham, insisting her recent meeting with the Transporter star was “nothing”.

The model, who split from the Ocean’s Eleven hunk in May, sparked rumors of a love match with Statham earlier this month after they were pictured together in Las Vegas.

The British action man has already dismissed any romance claims, and now Larson has insisted there was nothing romantic about the hook up.

She tells People.com, “It was a large group of people and I didn’t even know he was at the table. We talked for a little bit but it was nothing.”

And she admits she is happy living the single life for the time being: “It’s working for me. I’m staying single. I’m not dating anyone right now. I’ve been focusing a lot on work and things are going very well.”

Madonna and her filmmaker husband Guy Ritchie are planning to renew their wedding vows in a Kabbalah ceremony next month, according to London reports.

Despite claims the couple’s marriage is on the rocks, Madonna and Ritchie will host a Shabbat Nachamu event to show family and friends they are still very much a couple.

A source tells The Sun newspaper. “It’s a very important dinner for them – they want everyone to know they are still in love.”

The special ceremony will reportedly take place at the celebrity couple’s British country estate, with two rabbis flying in from New York to officiate.

The event will coincide with the celebration of the pop star’s 50th birthday, according to the publication. Madonna turns 50 on August 16th.
