Feud, what feud?

When it comes to Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez tells Extra, “there’s nothing there to talk about.”

Rumors of a rift swirled last week after an old YouTube clip of Cyrus, 15, mocking Gomez, 16, hit the blogs. It surfaced the same week it was reported that Gomez was dating Cyrus’ ex Nick Jonas. Cyrus later apologized.

But Gomez says the clip “is just the media wanting something to talk about and wanting us to fight.

“Everywhere you go, you’re hearing things that are untrue,” she says. “You just got to learn that if I don’t say it, physically out of my mouth on camera, it’s not true.”

To prove she has no ill will, Gomez says she picked up “Miley’s new CD. I really like her CD.”

Gomez says she is thankful for fan support.

“It’s overwhelming … to know there are hundreds of kids out there that look up to me,” she says. “I know that’s a big responsibility. I am also very confident to say that it is wonderful and I’ll do my best that I can do to be the best role model I can be.”
