A new twist in the Shia LaBeouf story! Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore tells ET the other driver involved in the accident blew a red light and Shia did not cause the accident.

The other party will be cited in the accident, which occurred early Sunday in Hollywood, the Sheriff’s spokesman said. Shia was arrested after the crash on suspicion of drunk driving.
