Justin Timberlake knocks Ashton Kutcher’s trendsetter claim

Justin Timberlake has hit back at Ashton Kutcher’s claims he made trucker caps popular, insisting he sported the style long before the actor did.
The SexyBack hitmaker maintains that he and his William Rast fashion line partner and childhood friend, Trace Ayala, were responsible for making the hats cool.
Timberlake says, “It’s funny. I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps. I’ve heard him make that statement before.
“Trace and I were wearing them when we were seventeen. We just kind of didn’t care. We kind of still don’t.”

So why comment on it now? This is so silly.

he might have worn them first, but ashton made them a fad. although i guess the important part here is how 2 grown men are fighting over who made the fashion statement first. lame.

justin, just because you wore them when you were young doesn’t mean you started the trend then.
this was sorta silly to comment on to begin with.
