Rihanna wants to record a “feminist anthem” for her next album with fellow chart-toppers Amy Winehouse and Duffy.

She has drawn up a wishlist of musicians and producers she wants to work with when she next hits the studio, with Winehouse, Duffy, and Winehouse-collaborator Mark Ronson right at the top.

She tells the BBC, “I love Mark Ronson. We’ve talked about doing something together on my next album”.

Rihanna adds of a ‘dream team’ with Brits Winehouse and Duffy: “How amazing would that be? We’ve all got three different voices, it would be brilliant. Now that would be a feminist anthem.

“I love Amy. I think she’s great, so unique. I love her album. And I also love what Duffy is doing, she’s brilliant, as well.”

Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina has refused to confirm or deny rumors the actress is in a lesbian relationship with best pal Samantha Ronson, insisting she just wants her daughter to be “happy”.

The Mean Girls star has been keeping gossips guessing as to the nature of her relationship with the DJ sister of producer Mark Ronson for the last six months.

But rumours escalated last week when the pair was seen repeatedly embracing and cuddling up to one another at a party in Cannes, France. Lohan has also been pictured kissing Ronson on the cheek.

And while the actress’ representative insists the star is just “close friends” with Ronson, Lindsay’s manager mum Dina admits she will not stand in her daughter’s way if she chooses to embark on a romance with the DJ.

Dina tells OK! magazine, “If she’s happy, I’m happy. That’s all I’ll say. Samantha’s great. I’ve known her and her family for ten years.”

Rob Lowe and his wife Sheryl have formally denied all accusations made against them by their former childminder after filing a response to her sexual harassment lawsuit.

Laura Boyce, who worked for the Lowe family last year, has accused Sheryl of creating an “extremely sexually offensive and hostile work environment”, claiming her ex-boss quizzed her about the size of her African-American boyfriend’s penis and regularly paraded around the family home naked.

But, in legal papers filed in Los Angeles County Superior court on Friday, the Lowes have refuted the allegations, insisting they behaved in no such manner.

They have denied every one of her accusations and have made reference to the statute of limitations, claiming Boyce waited too long before suing them.

The Lowes have also called on a judge to dismiss the case because Boyce has “unclean hands”, indicating that even if the couple behaved inappropriately towards the nanny, she has also been unprofessional and therefore doesn’t have a righteous case, reports website TMZ.com.

Lowe and his wife filed countersuits against Boyce and two other ex-employees on April 7th after claiming they’re the victims of an attempted extortion scheme, led by another former nanny, Jessica Gibson.

Welsh actor Rhys Ifans is returning to his rock roots - he’s teaming up with his former Super Furry Animals bandmate Dadydd Ieuan to form a new group.

The pair has recruited fellow musicians Dic Ben, Kris Jenkins and Nick Hilton and named the band The Peth, and they will release their debut album The Golden Mile in September.

The Notting Hill actor was part of the original line-up of the Super Furry Animals, but left the group before they rose to national fame in the U.K. in the mid-1990s.

Amy Winehouse has performed at her first concert since leaving rehab to a sold-out crowd - although the singer appeared almost an hour late to the Lisbon show.

Winehouse was at the Rock in Rio Lisboa festival in Lisbon, Portugal on Friday for the concert, the first of a series over the summer.

On her arrival, the 90,000-strong crowd that had been booing started cheering. But the singer warned her throat was hoarse and some of the songs were croaky, according to reports.

Although the song list was shortened, Winehouse had the crowd singing along to her hits, including Rehab and Valerie.

Fans also cheered loudly when she said she had recently celebrated her first anniversary with husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently in prison awaiting trial, according to the BBC.

The set lasted for around 55 minutes before Winehouse left to make way for Lenny Kravitz.

A report from Associated Press said the crowd was “subdued” following the set, as the singer failed to perform an encore.

The singer is due to appear at several concerts in Europe over the summer, including one for Nelson Mandela’s birthday in London.

Although her singing career has gone from strength to strength, the star has been in and out of rehab in recent months. Winehouse was recently questioned by the police over footage of her apparently inhaling fumes from a crack pipe, but no charges have been brought.

Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie are facing a challenge to their adoption of Malawian tot David Banda - the baby’s biological father wants to fight for visitation rights to the child.

The superstar couple’s adoption of the two-year-old was finalized at Malawi?s High Court in May - 20 months after being granted an ‘interim’ order allowing them to take the baby from a Malawian orphanage back to their London home.

David was left at the care home after his mother died in childbirth and his peasant farmer dad Yohane Banda was unable to provide for the then-seven-month-old baby.

But now Yohane claims government officials had promised him access his son every three to four years as part of the adoption arrangement and he is looking into his legal rights to see the child.

He says, “I love the boy and it was in his best interests to put him in the orphanage.”

“Because I support the adoption I would not want to put up a challenge that would reverse it, but I might challenge some aspects of the order.

“I am discussing with my family about following up on having access to the child. We will not leave things the way they are - we will do something about it.”

Madonna and director Ritchie’s adoption of little David has been marred by controversy ever since they brought him back to the U.K., with critics claiming the couple had been given special treatment to side-step the official adoption process.
