Gavin Rossdale despises the pack of photographers who follow his every move when he’s out with wife Gwen Stefani – but can’t stop his mother from buying the tabloid fodder.

The former Bush frontman and his pregnant wife Stefani are constantly hounded by paparazzi eager to get snaps of the star couple with their young son Kingston.

And while he can’t stand having his picture taken, he admits his mom loves seeing him in the newspapers and magazines.

He says, “My mom loves seeing me in the magazines! I try to explain to her not to buy into it because if you do, you feed it (the media frenzy), but when I see them, I’m so vain I just get annoyed about how I look!”
