Jessica Simpson has blasted the press for making up stories about her and her manager-dad Joe – insisting so many of the reports about her family life have been fabricated.

The singer is astonished by rumors about her private life, including one claim that her father fit her for her first bra.

And she is even more surprised that people think they are true.

She says, “There have been stories that are ridiculous. Like my father really fit me for a training bra. Like, who believes that kind of thing!?”
