Will Smith is scared of anti-action films

Will Smith is reluctant to star in movies that aren’t big-budget blockbusters – because he’s not sure if such projects would succeed in the box office.
The actor has made a name for himself with lead roles in high-grossing action and sci-fi hits like Men In Black and Independence Day.
And he admits he is afraid to stray from his trademark genre in favor of more dramatic films.
He says, “I fear that if I don’t do that ‘Will Smith’ thing, then it won’t be successful.”
But the 39-year-old is confident his best work on the big screen is yet to come.
He adds: “I think the next four or five years are going to be my innovative prime.”

I think he carried “I Am Legend” spactacularly well, considering he was onscreen ALONE for an hour by himself. I didn’t used to care about Will Smith, but he’s definitely gotten better with age.

I would watch any movie staring him because they all turn out really good.

Oh. My. God. Who SAYS things like that?!? “That Will Smith Thing.” & “The next 4-5 years are going to be my innovative prime.” And he can predict that, how?
Now, I like WS, he seems to be a likable person . . . until he babbles something like THIS nonsense.
