Naomi Campbell pleads guilty to assaulting two police officers
Naomi Campbell appeared in court Friday and pleaded guilty to assaulting two police officers in London’s Heathrow airport this April, People has confirmed.
The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to four of the six charges she was facing – two counts of assaulting a police constable; one of using threatening, abusive words or behavior to cabin crew; and one of using insulting, abusive, threatening behavior or disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
The Crown Prosecution Service has decided not to pursue the other two charges.
“Ms. Campbell was aggressive, hostile and violent to people who were simply trying to do their jobs,” C.P.S. director Nazir Afzal said in a statement. “Her behaviour fell far short of what is acceptable.”
According to one source close to the trial, Campbell must remain in the Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court precinct to await sentencing.
“The magistrate has asked for a report from the probation service prior to sentencing,” the source tells People. “It is expected that she will be sentenced this afternoon.”
Campbell could face a jail term of up to six months and a fine of $10,000 for each assault charge. Before the court convened, a rep for the model told press she “regretted” the incident.
Last year, Campbell was ordered to attend anger management classes and complete five days of community service after she pleaded guilty to assault for throwing a cell phone at her housekeeper.

I feel sorry for Naomi. British Airways is racist anyway, and they are well known for their racism, even Robert Fisk (one of the best and finest British journalist) recently wrote an article about this. I would not be surprised that the people they ban from British airways are more often than not, non-Caucasians, and I believe their bad treatment of Naomi is racially-based. I know Naomi has a temper, and I believe that this is caused by all the bad and racial prejudices and mistreatment she has had to persevere over her career. To be what she is, and make it as she has done as a black woman in racially charged media and modeling industries is just incredible. Admire and respect her. I understand too that she has been provoked by some of her personal assistants, and I am sure that these assistants had provoked her, in all probability, were driven by jealousy and envy. You need someone who understands you, and what it takes to be you. Didn’t all these cases involve women? We know what women can do out of jealousy and envy. I have never understood why she takes women as personal assistants. If I were Naomi, I would never trust my beauty or my life in the hands of a woman. Why not have men assistants or beauticians? I am a woman and I know what women can do out of jealousy and envy. I know it from first hand experiences. Women can be witches. Anyway, about the BA thing, do not worry Naomi if BA bans you from taking it, there is nothing to miss anyway. Is it the only airline? To my knowledge, it is the worst airline, let alone that it is famous for its racism! Really, even if someone paid a First Class BA ticket for me and payed me a million dollar on top, I would not take it. Who need services of racists? This is 21st Century, and BA lives and acts as if we were living in the 19th and 20th Century.
