Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and husband Pete Wentz welcomed a son Thursday night, PEOPLE confirms.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long. (Isn’t Mowgli the boy from Jungle Book?)

“Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!” a spokesperson tells PEOPLE.

Simpson-Wentz, 24, and the Fall Out Boy bassist, 29, announced her pregnancy in May, a few weeks after their opulent Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland-themed wedding.

“I would love to have a big family one day,” Simpson-Wentz told PEOPLE at the time. Added Wentz: “A big soccer team or a band!”

And, as her dad, Joe Simpson, recently put it to PEOPLE: “The day she found out she was pregnant, she became a woman.”

Wentz, meanwhile, has been leaning on rocker pal Joel Madden – dad to 9-month-old Harlow with girlfriend Nicole Richie – for tips on fatherhood. “Joel gives me advice,” Wentz recently told PEOPLE. “[It’s] been really awesome for me to go to another person my age.”

Richie and Harlow were guests at Simpson-Wentz’s Winnie the Pooh-themed baby shower on Nov. 1.

Wentz also has another kind of baby on the way: Fall Out Boy’s third album, Folie A Deux, will be released on Dec. 16.

Four months after splitting from Canadian crooner Michael Bublé, the Devil Wears Prada star has been quietly seeing John Krasinski, the hottie on The Office!

The couple spent some quality time together on Nov. 9, kicking back at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif. “They ordered room service, took long walks and spent every second together,” says an insider. “John really cares for Emily — he totally fawns over her. And she’s loving the attention. She’s a down-to-earth girl, but it’s nice to be treated so well.”

John was last linked to his Office costar Rashida Jones.

Okay so a lot of you probably want me to just shut up about Twilight already, but I can’t - so bite me (no pun intended)!

I’m so excited!  The movie officially comes out tonight at midnight, and if I weren’t so stinking old (and already in bed) I’d be at that show!  I am, however, seeing it tomorrow at noon. I’ve been reading reviews all day, and the only critic review was the one I posted earlier from Entertainment Weekly.

From what I’ve gathered from people who have seen the film already, they’ve all said it doesn’t stick to the book as much as they would have liked. But I think that’s usually the case when you have a movie based off a book. I’m not going in - expecting to see the exact book I read. I understand there are some differences. And when you have such a cult following - like this movie - people feel personally connected to the book. I think it’s hard to not disappoint some fans.

I can’t remember the last time I was this pumped, this excited to see a movie. I just finished Eclipse last night around 11:00 - and I LOVED it. I was a bit disappointed with New Moon, but Eclipse was much better. I’m going to start Breaking Dawn tonight - and it’s going to be sad! I’ve been really enjoying these books - I don’t want them to end!

on’t expect wedding bells for Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal any time soon.

“Family is all we have in life, but I don’t know how I feel about marriage,” the actress, 32, reveals in the Nov. 23 issue of Parade. “Obviously, I’m not far enough out of being married to think about doing it again.”

Witherspoon split from her husband of 7 years, Ryan Phillippe, in 2006. They have two kids together: Ava, 9, and Deacon, 5. She’s been dating Gyllenhaal, 27, since April 2007.

The Academy-award winning actress isn’t sure she’ll ever be ready to say “I Do.”

“I don’t know,” she says in the newest issue of Us Weekly, on stands now. “I don’t think about it much…it’s important to stay open to whatever your relationship evolves into. I have a certain idea of what I thought marriage is and the whole life and [the way] things are, and sometimes it doesn’t work out that way.”

She admits that her split from Phillippe was tough.

“There are things in my life that are hard to reconcile, like divorce. Sometimes it is very difficult to make sense of how it could possibly happen,” she says.

“Laying blame it so easy. I don’t have time for hate or negativity in my life. There’s no room for it,” she adds. “When you make wrong choices, you have to take responsibility for them: ‘What part of this do I own?’

“I struggle to figure out what made me make those choices,” she says. “All I can hope for is that I’ve learned something from it and won’t make the same choices again.”

She says she made a lot of mistakes when she was young.

“I wasn’t good about protecting myself,” she explains. “I spent a lot of my 20s just trying to make other people happy, rather than trying to figure out if doing that made me happy.”

Witherspoon also says her fame makes it hard to connect with people.

“When I first meet someone, it is so hard for me to overcome everything they’ve read about me,” she says in Parade. “It’s not fair. It’s difficult, because I’m the kind of person who just wants to hug people.”

Her next movie, Four Christmases, hits theaters Nov. 26.
