Russell Brand is writing a philosophy book

Russell Brand is looking to branch out into philosophy in his future books.
The comedian, known for his toilet humor and witty one liners, told the Sun that he was hoping to take on some more serious material in the future.
Brand, whose book entitled My Booky Wook has been a commercial success, is hoping to make people think and laugh with his new venture.
Speaking to the Sun, Brand said: “The new book’s philosophy, yes, but more Clarkson than Kierkegaard. I’ll pontificate on subjects as diverse as West Ham, Morrissey and tea-bagging – all of which are potent ontological metaphors.”
Brand, who starred in Hollywood film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, is also hoping to inspire like some of the bearded greats and to express his opinions on the classic themes of the discipline in his new work as well.
“If I haven’t solved the riddle of existence by chapter two I shall hurl the manuscript on to Nietzsche’s grave and French-kiss Bertrand Russell’s corpse,” he added.
