David Beckham is nursing a basketball injury
David Beckham is nursing an embarrassing injury – after his efforts to become a better basketball player backfired.
The soccer stud-turned-model and his eldest two sons have become big fans of the Los Angeles Lakers as the basketball team fight for the NBA title in America.
And Beckham has even become close friends with Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant.
But his efforts to dunk it like Bryant have left him with a nasty cut on his nose.
He explains, “I was playing basketball with my eldest son (and he) threw the ball at the net and it bounced off the ring and smacked me in the face.”
