Alanis Morissette tells ET that working on her new album, Flavors of Entanglement, in stores tomorrow, was very therapeutic in dealing with her breakup with actor Ryan Reynolds, “I’d hit rock bottom. Everything unraveled.” One song called “Moratorium,” she says, really speaks of her realization that she was “not emotionally ready to be married.”
She reveals that she is dating someone new, but won’t say his name, “I’m gun shy about public relationships at this point… I feel great right now!”
Morissette goes on to joke that anyone entering a relationship with her must be prepared to become song material, “I write about my life. At this point if I don’t write about a guy, he’s probably insulted!”
