Nick Hogan: Get me out of solitary confinement

Nick Bollea’s attorneys requested Monday that he be moved out of solitary confinement, where the teen-age son of Hulk Hogan is serving a sentence for felony reckless driving.
Bollea, 17, spends 16 to 17 hours a day in a maximum security cell in a Florida jail where his food is delivered through a slot in the door, his attorneys said in a court filing seeking a transfer to monitored home confinement or the minimum-security area.
“Understandably, this situation creates an unbearable anxiety for a minor in solitary confinement,” the papers say.
The confinement at Pinellas County Jail, according to his lawyers, “substantially amounts to cruel and unusual punishment for a juvenile and is not warranted for a non-violent first offender serving a probation sentence.”
Bollea was sentenced last month to eight months in a Florida county jail after pleading no contest to charges stemming from the Aug. 26, 2007, car crash that left his best friend, John Graziano, in critical condition.
He was placed in solitary because the jail was not equipped to house a minor in the minimum-security area, which only holds adults, the court papers say.

Jail is not supposed to be a nice place. This young man needs to learn a lesson here.I can only hope the judge involved with the sentencing “sticks to his / her guns” and does not change the sentence. He should be thankful the injured person did not die, otherwise the sentence could have been far worse.

They should show slide shows to poor lil Nick of John Graziano with his concave forhead because he is missing part of his BRAIN! Maybe that will keep him occupied. Geez, Nick is so wrapped up in his pitty party he can’t (won’t???) see what he did wrong.

Boo Hoo you little baby. You committed the crime, you should do the time. Quit crying and whining to your dad, mom, and lawyers to get you out because you’re going crazy. Since when was a punishment meant to be easy??!! This will teach you to never, ever street race again. Stop being such a chump and carry out your sentence. How do you think your “friend” is??!!!! BTW, I WAS a fan of your dad until I heard that pitiful conversation with you over the phone. You and your family need to be institutionalized.

I am a little sick and tired of hearing all these negative things about the hogan’s. If you were in their shoes you would be doing the same thing for your son. Now, John knew what he was getting himself into by getting into that car. Then not wearing a seat belt. He should have know better. My heart goes out to the Graziano’s but in my heart I believe Debbie is seeing money signs$$$$$$$$. I really hope the judge doesn’t put any of his relatives in charge of the money they are going to get from this law suit. Every one needs to take a deep breath and thank god nothing more came out of this. I also believe John wouldn’t want Nick to suffer like he is. I belive he would tell him to go on with his life. Now how about we start on the positive things. One more thing I hope John’s step brother is going to held accountable for the phone calls he is making!!!!!!!!!!!!1
