It’s not like it was a big secret or anything, right?
Newlyweds Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have confirmed they are expecting their first child.
The couple has been dogged by pregnancy rumors for weeks, but refused to confirm the news until now.
Wentz announced his new wife is pregnant by writing on his website, “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”
The pair wed in Encino, California earlier this month.

Can’t blame them for wanting to wait until the first trimester is over to confirm. A lot of people do that.
